Dubai South Free Zone Company Setup & Trade License
Previously called Dubai World Central, Dubai South Freezone is a self-sustaining economic initiative launched and designed by the Government.
It’s a large-scale and multi-phased development surrounding the world’s biggest international airport, Al Maktoum International Airport. With a strategic position in the south of Jebel Ali, it is planned to be the main site for Expo 2020 and to house up to 945,000 people who will live and work in the city.
Aside from the Al Maktoum International Airport, the initiative comprises the Logistics District, Business Park, Aviation District, Golf District, Commercial District, Residential District, Exhibition District and Humanitarian District.
The freezone is also directly linked to the Jebel Ali Port through a dedicated Logistics Corridor, which is essentially a customs bonded freezone covering approximately 200 square kilometers. In addition, the freezone offers direct access to two of Dubai’s main superhighways: Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Dubai By-Pass, which is also conveniently linked to Sheik Zayed Road.
For entrepreneurs and businessmen, the freezone offers 100 percent business ownership, a diverse and wide array of trade activities, and minimal restrictions compared with other freezones.
The upcoming Expo 2020 offers an evolving and active economic hub for businesses. So if you are planning to set up a company in Dubai South Freezone and capitalize on the tremendous business opportunities the universal exposition will bring to Dubai, get in touch with us.
