Dubai Design District (D3)

Dubai Design District (D3) is the creative and fashion hub of the city. Over the years, top fashion studios and art galleries have set up shop in the free zone. In addition, it offers restaurants, galleries, showrooms, architectural firms, and a surfeit of other services.

Two of the most significant events held at D3 are Sole DXB and the Fashion Forward Dubai. These events attract leading brands from across the globe. The free zone also hosts Dubai Home Festival, which showcases interior design talents, boutique firms, and outdoor specialists.  

The free zone is the home of Amato, the UAE’s first globally renowned couture fashion brand. It’s also home to Frame, GCC’s first boutique dedicated solely to Japanese lifestyle and culture. 

There are galleries scattered throughout D3, including Art Hub, an exhibition space for artworks inspired by Dubai’s culture, and Sconci Gallery, which offers a look at a wide range of works, from 17th-century pieces to modern creations.

The area has a reputation for being the best after-hours spot at Base Dubai in terms of nightlife. This nightclub often hosts performances by internationally renowned musicians such as Rita Ora, Akon, and Jennifer Lopez. Other businesses catering to the nightlife crowd are expected to develop in the area.
